Everyday AI, For the Future - Build Your Own Personal WHS AI Toolkit

Presented by Kim Seeling Smith

Wednesday, 21 October 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Building on her WorkSafe Tasmania conference keynote, business futurist and AI strategist Kim Seeling Smith returns for a hands-on, one-hour session for Safe Work Month's "For the Future" week. Rather than just showing AI in action, Kim will teach participants to build their own custom prompts using her master prompt framework, giving them a skill they can use for absolutely any task, long after the session ends. She'll then walk the group through building a personal "Chief of Staff" AI agent: a multi-function tool that connects to your calendar, email and work files to help keep you organised. This is a genuinely interactive session, so come with your questions ready - you'll be building alongside Kim in real time.

Technology recommendations for participants:
Please have a device on hand and access to an AI platform such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Claude - the session is platform agnostic, so any of the three will work. BUT you will need a paid subscription to your model of choice (lowest will do).
If you have access to MS Copilot's Cowork, Claude Cowork or ChatGPT's Work that's an added bonus as you'll be able to take the Chief of Staff exercise further and schedule your agent to run automatically in the background - not essential, but a great bonus if available.

Kim will also run through key privacy and security settings to check before connecting any AI tool to your own device.
