Permit Condition 1.2 requires self-insurers to complete an annual Declaration of Compliance and submit it to WorkSafe Tasmania on or before 31 August each year. The Declaration of Compliance must be provided in the format as approved by the WorkCover Board Tasmania and must be signed by the self-insurer’s authorised senior manager.
Insurers are encouraged to use WorkCover Board Tasmania’s claim file audit tool when conducting self-audits for the Declaration of Compliance (Part B). The tool supports a comprehensive audit process and enables comparison of current and previous audit results.
